Design Challenge #1 — AI Chatbot


Redesign the user interface for an existing AI chatbot to enhance its user experience and functionality. The new interface should be visually appealing, intuitive, and improve the chatbot’s ability to assist users effectively.


  1. Improved User Experience: Prioritize a more user-friendly and engaging experience for interacting with the chatbot.
  2. Natural Language Processing (NLP): Enhance the chatbot’s NLP capabilities to understand and respond to commands and queries by having suggested prompts, feedback options, or other features of your choosing.
  3. Multimodal Interaction: Incorporate both text-based and voice-based interactions, allowing users to choose their preferred mode.
  4. Accessibility: Ensure that the interface is accessible to individuals with disabilities, following accessibility standards such as WCAG.


  1. Personalization: Enable users to personalize the chatbot’s name, appearance, and communication style to create a more tailored experience.
  2. Privacy and Security: Address user data privacy and security concerns and allow users to manage their data.
  3. Notifications: Create a notification system that keeps users informed without being intrusive.
